Union Square Advisors LLC is pleased to announce that InterAct911 Corporation (“InterAct911”), a privately held software provider that supports dispatchers, incident responders and correctional officers, has agreed to be acquired by Constellation Software Inc. (“Constellation”)(TSX:CSU), through its wholly-owned subsidiary N. Harris Computer Corporation (“Harris”). InterAct911 will extend Harris’ Public Sector and Schools group of businesses.
The acquisition of InterAct911 will strengthen Harris’ position in the public safety software market. InterAct’s geographic footprint and customer profile augment Harris’ Global Law Enforcement business unit, and InterAct’s Software as a Service Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Offender Management platforms will enable Harris to participate in a growing segment of the market. Harris will continue to develop, sell, implement and support the InterAct solutions using the employee group working in InterAct’s six existing office locations.
