When Robert Greenhill left Morgan Stanley to become Chairman and CEO of Smith Barney (now Citigroup), he hired Mr. Josephson to run the firm’s Investment Banking Division in Asia. While serving in that role, Smith Barney lead-managed its first non-US Dollar denominated IPO (Qingling Motors), and Mr. Josephson advised numerous multinationals on their entry into the Chinese market, including the Sprint Corporation and Universal Studios. Mr. Josephson received an MBA from Columbia Business School (where he graduated first in his class of 500) and received his A.B. from Princeton University, Summa Cum Laude.
