He subsequently moved to Hong Kong to run the firm’s M&A practice in non-Japan Asia. When Robert Greenhill left Morgan Stanley to become Chairman and CEO of Smith Barney (now Citigroup), he hired Mr. Josephson to run the firm’s Investment Banking Division in Asia. While serving in that role, Smith Barney lead-managed its first non-US Dollar denominated IPO (Qingling Motors), and Mr. Josephson advised numerous multinationals on their entry into the Chinese market, including the Sprint Corporation and Universal Studios. Mr. Josephson received an MBA from Columbia Business School (where he graduated first in his class of 500) and received his A.B. from Princeton University, Summa Cum Laude.

Mr. Parmelee executed as the research analyst for the lead investment bank over 15 initial public (IPO) and secondary offerings of securities raising over $4.1 billion in common stock and over $1.1 billion in subordinated notes. He also acted as an advisor ("over the wall") on leading communications mergers/acquisitions including Cerent Corporation’s $6.9 billion merger with Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks’ $9.1 billion merger with Bay Networks and Ascend Communications’ $2.9 billion merger with Cascade Communications. Prior to his career in equity research, Mr. Parmelee was a senior systems consultant for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) with a focus on serving the aerospace/defense industry. Mr. Parmelee holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.

Before Atherton Vista Capital, Mr. Riskas co-founded Trinity Advisors, which provided advisory services to institutional investors in connection with highly structured, domestic and cross-border leveraged lease transactions, project financings and buyouts. Prior to Trinity Advisors, Mr. Riskas was a Partner and SVP at Comdisco Financial Services where he headed the leveraged lease equity placement group. A lifetime resident of the Bay Area, Mr. Riskas serves on the UCLA Foundation Board of Governors, the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford and the COPF Foundation. He is a past President of the Menlo Circus Club, member of the Board of Trustees of Menlo School and Elder of the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Riskas is a published author of articles on tax-oriented leveraged leasing. He received both his BA in Economics and his MBA in Accounting and Finance degrees from the University of California – Los Angeles.

Mr. Kawarabayashi received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in International Relations from Georgetown University.

Over the course of his investment banking career Mr. Kowalzyk has worked with several leading technology companies, including ADC Telecom, Sun Microsystems, WPP Group, Interwoven, WebEx, Polycom, US Robotics, Andrew Wireless, Inter-Tel and National Semiconductor among others. Mr. Kowalzyk received a B.S. in Finance from Kansas State University.

Formerly, Mr. Arcilla was Director of Compliance with Hoefer & Arnett, Inc., an institutional sales firm where he oversaw the firm's compliance programs. Earlier Mr. Arcilla began his career as a Senior Compliance Examiner with FINRA in Philadelphia and San Francisco, where he lead, reviewed, and reported member compliance through onsite examinations of member firms. Mr. Fankhauser received a M.S. in Accountancy and a B.S. in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University.

Nate received a B.S. in Symbolic Systems and a Minor in Economics from Stanford University.
